The Communications component
is an integral part of the continued effort to disseminate
information, stimulate interest and facilitate participation
in the Hartsfield Development Program.
Our targeted communications
efforts increase our media outreach. To date, in addition
to the general market, we have extended our media outreach
to include African-American, Asian, and Hispanic media representatives
and organizations.
In an effort to deliver
timely and pertinent information, several vehicles have been
developed to address the communications mediums for the Alliance.
Newsletter
- “The Alliance”:
This
quarterly newsletter is distributed to Alliance members, business
organizations and advocacy groups. “The Alliance”
highlights noteworthy events, reports on current industry
activities and also spotlights minority business owners who
have reached milestones in their careers.
Website:
This
informative website has been constructed to serve as the primary
tool for posting Alliance information, schedules of upcoming
events and reports on construction projects around the Greater
Atlanta area. The website also allows the Alliance to receive
messages from its members and supporters. On-line registration
for all Alliance sponsored events is also available and easily
accessible through our site.
An exciting feature of
the website is the ability to send out information in the
form of “E-alerts” to all businesses and individuals
in our electronic database. The E-alerts contain messages
regarding events, opportunities and special announcements
that would appeal to those in the construction industry. The
database is extensive and is continually maintained and updated
frequently.
Marketing
CD:
The
Alliance marketing CD was developed to be distributed during
conferences and networking receptions and is included in sponsor
packages to provide an overview of the organization. Additionally,
it operates as a resource tool that includes:
· City of Atlanta
Certification Forms can be downloaded
· Links to web sites for the Alliance, Department
of Aviation, MARTA, City of Atlanta and Department of Transportation

Direct
Mail Campaigns
Brochures,
newsletters, “Save-the-Date” cards and other such
marketing collateral are mailed regularly to current and potential
Alliance stakeholders. All direct mail pieces contain information
on specific topics pertaining to the Alliance, its members
and supporters. The Alliance has an extensive mailing list
consisting of top business professionals in construction and
non-construction related fields. Our mailing list is updated
frequently to ensure its quality and accuracy.
